Privacy policy

Angry Hamster requires no account. It has no ads, tracking SDKs, analytics, advertising identifiers, or developer-operated backend. The developer does not operate a server that collects your gameplay, device identifiers, or personal information. Optional Game Center sends completed-run times to Apple as described below.

Saved snackpoints, personal bests, sound and haptic preferences, motion preferences, and selected game skin are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to the developer. Apple-managed device backups may include this local data and preferences, and restoring a backup may recover them. Deleting the app removes the local copy, not existing device backups. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photo-library, or location access.

Optional Game Center participation uses your Apple-managed Game Center profile. When you choose Connect Game Center or enable Share times with Game Center in Settings, new completed runs share course identifiers and completion times with Apple, associated with your Game Center nickname/profile. The app reads player nicknames and times to show your personal, friends’ and global records. Your Game Center profile and submitted scores may be visible to other players according to Apple’s settings and privacy policy. Failed submissions may be stored locally with your Game Center player identifier for retry; they are never sent to another player’s account. Turning sharing off clears pending uploads and stops future submissions. Scores already submitted remain with Apple. Earlier anonymous local records are not uploaded when you connect. You can play the full game without Game Center.

The optional Full Game unlock is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process account, payment, and purchase information under its own privacy policy. The app reads Apple's verified purchase entitlement to enable levels 2–10 and three additional game skins. It does not store payment details, create a developer account, or upload transaction history to a developer server. Restore purchases asks Apple to restore entitlements for your Apple Account. The purchase is optional and is not a subscription. Level 1 and Storybook remain free.

This website uses no analytics, advertising scripts, cookies or forms. Cloudflare hosts these public pages and may process request information to deliver and protect the website under its privacy policy.

Changes to the app’s data practices will be reflected in this policy. Apple purchase history and refunds are available through Apple purchase support.
